The deliberately chosen cigarette becomes a quiet symbol of resistance – against a double standard that demonizes smoking while trivializing alcohol, even though it can destroy families. Personal experience flows into the work – subtly, yet unmistakably. And yet, the will to actively shape her own life was never lost.
